Withdrawal Notification

UAL Awarding Body have decided to withdraw the following qualifications from Ofqual’s Register of Regulated Qualifications, by the end of the 2023–2024 academic year:

  • UAL Level 3 Diploma for Fashion Studio Assistant (603/1404/7)
  • UAL Level 4 Diploma for Fashion Studio Assistant (603/1405/9)

Our registration window for the 2023–2024 academic year has now closed and we are not accepting new centre or learner registrations for these qualifications.

We have made this difficult decision because the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) has withdrawn its support for the Fashion Studio Assistant occupational standard to which these qualifications are linked. Key stakeholders have been informed and we will work closely with them to ensure that no learners are adversely affected by this.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who developed, supported, delivered, and took these qualifications.
