Teachers discussing final major projects

Improving final major project grades: from Pass to Merit and from Merit to Distinction

Find ways to raise student attainment and turn around poor projects.

Through presentations, discussion and reflection, you will be guided through UAL Awarding Body specifications and project frameworks, including final major projects. You will also get to see and assess real student work to provide you with an understanding of how you might improve your students’ grades back in the classroom.

Our facilitators will lead a robust discussion on grade boundaries, to provide you with a confident working knowledge of relevant specifications. The day will not be prescriptive, but about sharing good practice, evaluating current strategies and testing the usefulness of new ones.
