Biography

I am the Founder and Director of the Edinburgh Student Arts Festival (ESAF), a social enterprise that supports public access to the arts and youth access to the creative sector. I studied an MA Sustainable Development at the University of Edinburgh. In 2014 I was elected the first black Women President of Edinburgh University Students' Association (EUSA) from 2014-2015. In 2016 I was named one of Scotland's Top 10 Social Innovators by Third Force News.

I currently work for the National Theatre of Scotland in the LEARN department project managing a piece of work around young people and am a co-founder of Povo; a new consultancy creating and thinking in Edinburgh. I helped co-create #FeministFest. I currently sit on the advisory board of the Travelling Gallery, trustee of YWCA Scotland-The Young Women's Movement, steering group of Creative Edinburgh and am the youngest member of the University of Edinburgh's General Council Business Committee. In 2017, I was named one of 30 Under 30 Inspiring Women in Scotland.

I am studying the MBA at Central Saint Martins and University of London Birkbeck with the fully funded Sundstorm Scholarship for Women Leaders.
