Biography

I was born in Sweden and first came to London to study at Drama Centre London and then at the London Contemporary Dance School.

I work in London as a lecturer in Higher Education and across Europe as a Movement Director, Acting-Movement Coach in film, TV, on stage and as a Life Coach for Business Co-operation.

I have lived and worked in Brazil under the auspices of the British Council, at the University of Sao Paolo and Caminas, as an Assistant Director for the Cisne Negro Dance Company and as a Tour Manager for visiting companies.

What I teach

Movement is offered across all courses and disciplines at the Drama Centre as a well as a structured programme.

The core is the study of the design of the body. Students come to appreciate Movement Studies as a part of science and are encouraged to explore the reflective relationship between the design of the body, the environment and everyday artefacts. The students study these in practical and analytical sessions, individual and in ensemble; their findings recorded in a "Movement Journal". The aim of the program is to find the keys to successful physical storytelling.
