Biography
I have been a lecturer at the University of Westminster (formerly the Polytechnic of Central London) since 1992 teaching both theory and practice. I did my MA at Northern Film School (formerly The Northern School of Film and Television) specialising in Production Design after which I trained at the BBC in the Scenic Design department.
I have professional experience in both film and television as a designer as well as developing and producing factual programming and documentaries. I have also designed and collaborated in staging a number of exhibitions and festivals.
I would love to design an opera but no one has asked me yet! I'm a keen walker and enjoy nothing more than tramping about the countryside with my sketchpad come what weather.
