Biography

I am an artist and writer. I have been teaching Fine Art at a range of institutions since 1991 including leading the Painting School at Camberwell and Print at Winchester School of Art.

My research and teaching interests involve technical histories and forms of mediation. I have been working on the Making History Project with archaeologists based at the University of Southampton to collaboratively develop innovative uses for 3D technologies. I am a member of Five Years, a collectively organised group of artists; we run a gallery and structure collaborations.

My work has been included in exhibitions at the British Library; Foxy Production, New York; LLS 387, Antwerp. Awards include an Abbey Fellowship in Painting at The British School at Rome and the Art Foundation Fellowship in Painting.
