Helmert Robbertsen is an Associate Lecturer in Jewellery, Footwear & Fashion Accessories. He has extensive experience in Art and Design and teaches across a broad range of disciplines. He is an advocate of Widening Participation and has actively supported all students in their endeavours to progress to Higher Education. His students within the Widening Participation programme have shown their work in Tate Britain and The Pompidou Centre. He maintains a studio practice based on commissioned pieces and has work featured in UK and International collections. Helmert Robbertsen has a BA (Hons) in Silversmithing and Metalwork from Camberwell College of Arts and a Graduate Certificate in (FE) Education.
