Biography

I am an award-winning designer, maker and artist based in London, producing small-scale architecture and design interventions in response to the built environment. Through my work, I am particularly interested in exploring the notions of amateurism, industry, production and the position of craft in the 21st Century.

I studied Fine Art at the City of Bath Art College, 3D Design at Brighton University and Design Products at the Royal College of Art. His work has been widely exhibited in creative institutions such as Somerset House, the Barbican, the IABR, V&A Museum, MOMA, The British Council, the RSA and the Gwangju Design Biennale curated by Chinese Artist, Ai Wei Wei.

In 2012, my Sea Chair Project was nominated for the Design of the Year Award at the Design Museum and won the Sustain Award from the Royal College of Art.

I am also the Co-founder and Creative Co-Director of FACULTY, a multidisciplinary studio specialising in curating, designing and making. With a strong belief in narrative and research-based design, FACULTY works with local governments and international institutions. It offers a holistic approach to creating projects, from large built installations and public realm commissions to publications and live workshops.
