Degree Shows 2018

A soft 3D shape in red, white and blue.

Here, we share a glimpse into the shows and how, from fine art to culture and enterprise, fashion, product design, photography and beyond, our students of 2018 are enacting real productive and visual change.

“A key role of an art and design college is to nurture, empower and enable the emergent work of its students. Hence the tag line of this year’s shows – #CSMemerge and the identity of a fluid, fluctuating form that is affected by external influences, bristling with an energy that extends far beyond the walls of the College. This year, more than ever, our students have opened up to the outside world: reacting to, commenting on, reframing and redrawing the multiple forces to which they have been exposed.”

– Jeremy Till, Head of Central Saint Martins, Pro Vice-Chancellor University of the Arts London
