Have you decided you are ready to start your own fashion business?

This dynamic course is delivered by the consultant and business owner Toby Meadows, who developed the course to support fashion entrepreneurs in their journey to becoming fashion business owners. This starting a fashion label short course will answer all your questions and give you a clear idea of what you need to be thinking about, and the preparation and planning involved in making your business successful.

Who should attend?

Intermediate. To fully benefit from this course you should have experience in the fashion industry or attended our 'Essential Guide to the Fashion Business' short course. You should come to the course prepared to discuss your potential business idea.

This course is for students aged 18 and older.

In order to fully participate in the practical exercises please bring the following materials/equipment to the first class:

  • Notebook and pen
  • Laptop/iPad/tablet

Online short course materials

To take part in the online sessions you will need:

  • An up-to-date web browser (we recommend Chrome)
  • Microphone and headphones (a headset with a microphone function is recommended. The built-in microphone in your device would also be fine)
  • Webcam
