Alistair  McClymont

Biography

Alistair McClymont is an artist, designer, and developer working as the Subject Lead in Emerging Practice on BA (Hons) Graphic and Media Design. He is also an Associate Lecturer on MA Graphic Media Design at London College of Communication and the New York / London Cultural Exchange (a collaboration between UAL and the Shawn Carter Foundation).

Alistair exhibits internationally with a varied practice encompassing installation, sculpture, image, sound, video and digital. Recent exhibitions include the Tate Modern, Stereolux (France), STUK (Belgium), MU (Netherlands) and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Alistair has been invited to talk at exhibitions and conferences, including the Royal Society and Somerset House in London, State Festival in Berlin, MU in the Netherlands.

From his studio in London, he produces artwork in a wide range of materials. He is a member of the ​Supra Systems Studio​ research machine, hosted by the Design School at LCC and is a regular collaborator and researcher with other artists and designers.

Alistair holds an MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art and a BA in Fine Art from Hull School of Art.
