Biography

Bryony Quinn is a writer, editor and Lecturer on MA Graphic Media Design at London College of Communication.

Her writing focuses on figurative and spatial obliquity — things that lean, slopes, diagonals, digressions, etc — and she has presented her essays at the Turner Contemporary, Frieze and the Royal College of Art.

Quinn has worked with various art, literary and design institutes including Fitzcarraldo Editions, Cabinet Magazine, Artangel, Barbican Gallery and It’s Nice That.

She holds an MA in Critical Writing in Art & Design from the RCA, where she was a recipient of the annual critical writing prize, editor of Arc, and co-organiser of a conference on the life and work of John Berger.
