Biography
Ian Macauley is an Associate Lecturer for Graduate Diploma Photography at London College of Communication (LCC).
Born and raised in Scotland, Ian relocated to London to study photojournalism and launch his photographic career in 1985. Originally working for fashion trade magazines and public relations companies, Ian now photographs extensively for the retail, financial, legal and technology sectors.
His images have appeared in The Independent, The Guardian and The Sunday Telegraph, as well as many annual reports and corporate communications publications.
Creative corporate portraiture has become Ian's specialty, and he excels at producing imaginative, high quality images very quickly, engaging with his subjects to work collaboratively. His clients include J Walter Thompson, Legal & General and Ogilvy.
